Where and what is Bay Park?  Bay Park is one of the best kept secrets of real estate in Nassau County.  The prices of the homes and the real estate taxes tend to be lower than many other parts of Nassau County.  It is a one-time bungalow community established in the late 1920’s.  Most of the homes have since been replaced, expanded or remodeled.  The residents enjoy ammenities that are not available in other parts of Nassau County.  They are entitled to beach and docking rights.  They are near the Nassau County Bay Park where there is a 9 hole golf course, fishing, boating, picnicking, athletic events, a dog run and a boat launch.  It is also walkable to the Town of Hempstead’s beach, pool and playground at Hewlett Point.   There is a kayak launch, tennis courts, basketball and more.  Go to
